WASHINGTON, D.C. (April. 22 , 2022) – The Hakka Affairs Council of Taiwan invites anyone interested in Hakka culture, music creation and singing to register to compete in the 2022 Global Hakka Music Awards.
The awards are divided into the composition category and the singing category. One Grand Prize winner of the composition category will receive NT$300,000 (approximately US$10,292); one Grand Prize winner of the singing category will earn NT$150,000 (approximately US$5,147).
Online registration will close on Tuesday, May 17, 2022. Semi-finalists and finalists may apply the funding for transportation and accommodation. For more information, please visit https://hakkapopmusic.com.tw/.
