Three films from Taiwan will be featured in this year's Euro-Asia Shorts festival. The End of the Tunnel by Director Jung-Chi Chang (June 3), is the story of a blind high school student who excels at the piano. When he overhears a popular classmate break up with her boyfriend, they connect and offer one another solace as he plays the piano for her and she takes him to the beach. Family Viewing by Director Cheng-Chui Kuo (June 4) follows a French TV crew Pierre that convinces a Taipei family to participate in a reality TV show for a cash prize. As Pierre's camera follows the family for two days, little by little his lens become a new mode of communication between members of the family, as each reveals his/her philosophy of life and sometimes even a little secret. Summer Afternoon by Director Ho Wi Ding (June 5) follows a pair of lovers out for a drive in the country with a girl in the back seat.
