Director General Vincent Liu of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Atlanta and Mrs. Liu were invited to cut the ribbon for newly opened BELUX Coffee Roasters in Alpharetta. BELUX is owned by a local Taiwanese couple, Ben Li and Lucy Liu.
DG Liu praised the couple for managing a successful business in the local community. He also applauded the special coffee the store brews. According to the owner, BELUX only sources the finest green beans from top-rated coffee farms and importers. The store roasts coffees on demand and delivers fresh to all its customers.
Special guests included Kent Davies, President of Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce; Jackie Chen, Atlanta Chapter Chairwoman of the Global Federation of Chinese Business Women; and Vice-Chair Chiou Ting-Lan and Steven Hao, Vice President of the Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce of Gainesville, Georgia. TECO officers Daniel Hung, Tony Tai, and Jerry Chang also attended the open house.
