On March 28, TECOATL held the 45th-anniversary celebration of the "Taiwan Relations Act" at the Georgia State Capitol, highlighting the prosperous business results this Act has brought to the Taiwan-US economy and trade. The event invited several Taiwanese entrepreneurs, including the famous bubble milk tea shop Xing Fu Tang, to Georgia to share their successful experiences in doing business in the United States. There were nearly 100 people in attendance, including the Secretary of State of Georgia, co-chairs of the Taiwan Caucus, state legislators, and assistants. They enjoyed an on-site demonstration of how to make brown sugar pearl milk tea and tasted delicious snacks provided by Panda Express, an American chain restaurant founded by Taiwanese overseas students, and Flying Biscuit Cafe, run by Taiwanese businessmen.
