Join us at 10:30 a.m. Taipei time, (10:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time) June 19, 2000 for continuous live coverage of President Chen's first press conference since his inauguration on May 20.
The president will make an address lasting approximately half an hour, then take questions from the press for a further 30 minutes. The press conference will take place at the government's Taipei Guest House.
Commentary and analysis in English by veteran program presenter Fred Steiner will be available in RealPlayer and full-screen 30-frame per second NetShow Theater Server streaming formats (added broadband capability provided courtesy of Chunghwa Telecom) and as a Secondary Audio Program sub-carrier on CTS television in Taiwan.
