Health for Massachusetts, Taiwan Can Help (Series 10)

On September 29, Director-General Jonathan Sun of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Boston (TECO-Boston) joined President Sharon Hong of the Brookline Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce (BTCC) visited the State House to donate 2,500 masks to Massachusetts House Majority Leader Ronald Mariano. Also presented was Chairman Donald Wong of the Asian American Caucus.
The Majority Leader thanked the BTCC’s donation which will be distributed to senior citizens and high school students in his district of Quincy. He also shared the wonderful experience in Taiwan where he visited twice and hopes to visit again.
Director-General Sun explained in detail Taiwan’s achievement in fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic. He also noted that Taiwan hopes to sign a bilateral trade agreement (BTA) with the United States in the near future, further expanding and enhancing trade and economic relations between the two countries.
