The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Chicago would like to thank more than 20 Taiwanese Americans and volunteers from the Chinese Academy of Cleveland and the Taiwanese American Association of Greater Cleveland, including Grace Li-fang Lin, Janice Liu, Chia-Ning Chen, Hui-Ling Haldeman, Chao Hsu Yao and other college professors, teachers, medical doctors, and professionals who live in Cleveland, Ohio.Thank you‼️for giving full play to Taiwan’s humanitarian spirit of “Taiwan Can Help” and “Taiwan is Helping” during this difficult time of the COVID-19 pandemic. Not only did you donate over US $1,000 and food to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, you also broke the record to pack 735 boxes of relief supplies to those in urgent need during one 3-hour shift. Thank you‼️for taking actions to convey and show Taiwan’s love and warming strength. TECO in Chicago wants to thank you‼️especially for calling on the American community to support Taiwan’s meaningful participation in international organizations such as the United Nations(UN) and the World Health Organization(WHO).
