Director-General Eric Huang was delighted to attend the Chinese Mutual Aid Association (CMAA) Eye-Opening ceremony for the lion heads donated by the government of Taiwan.
Director-General Huang praised CMAA for its dedication to serving the needs, promoting the interests, and enhancing the well-being of Asian immigrants, as well as its marvelous job in preserving the Asian cultures in the U.S. Midwest. Likewise, Taiwan takes great pride in its cultural heritage and protection, and the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Chicago is glad to facilitate the donation of the two Lion Heads by the government of R.O.C. (Taiwan) to CMAA.
As we are all facing the challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic, Taiwan has donated about 1 million masks to the US Midwest. Together we are stronger!
