On August 17th, the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office and Crain's Chicago Business will present the co-organized "Taiwan-US Business Forum in the Midwest-Select Chicago, Select Taiwan" online seminar.
The theme of this seminar will be Global Supply Chains: Fasteners, Hardware and the Auto Industry, focusing on the cooperation between Taiwan and the United States under the COVID-19 pandemic to counter the challenges brought by the global supply chain to the global economy.
The seminar will be hosted by Jim Kirk, the publisher of Crain’s Chicago Business. Panelists will include Doug Ruggles, President of Martin Fastening Solutions, Joe Nagle, Senior Manager of Lawson Products, and Jon Najeski, Senior Purchaser of Screws Industries. Stuart Green, the Project Manager of the Taiwan Trade Center in Chicago will introduce Taiwan’s fasteners, hardware industry and exhibitions. The seminar will be broadcast on the Crain’s Chicago Business online media platform at 11:00 am on August 17th. All are welcome to register and watch.
