Director General Yvonne Hsiao was delighted to welcome Artist Aka Chen from Taiwan and meet with Joel Bartsch, President and CEO of Houston Museum of Natural Science , Lisa Rebori, Vice President of Collections & Exhibitions and Anne Shih, Chairwoman of the Board at Bowers Museum. Look forward to further cultural exchange between the Southern US and Taiwan in the near future.

Having worked in the jewellery industry for more than 30 years, Taiwanese artist and entrepreneur Aka Chen dedicates to the design of jewellery using a combination of titanium and precious stones. His patented high purity titanium artwork Zen was collected by British V&A museum in London.
