Vice President of Legislative Yuan Johnny C. Chiang's Legislators Delegation Visited Dallas

A delegation consisting of 8 legislators from Republic of China (Taiwan) led by Vice President of Legislative Yuan Johnny C. Chiang visited Dallas on November 22 and 23.
The delegation held a luncheon with local elected leaders, to thank them for supporting Taiwan as well as robust exchanges between Taiwan and Texas, especially Taiwanese investment in the Lone Star State, and emphasized that the ties between Taiwanese and Texans will remain tight and true as we continue to take our mutually beneficial cooperation to the next level.
The delegation also visited SMS InfoCom Corp. and Sysgration’s investments in DFW area.
This delegation marks the largest of its kind to visit DFW, and the Taiwanese community responded with warm, Texas-sized welcome. More than 150 Taiwanese compatriots, organized by Federation of Chinese Organization DFW, attended dinner with the delegation before they returned to Taiwan, marking the end of a successful and fruitful visit.
