- 申請案應準備文件，如結婚證明、出生證明、無犯罪紀錄證明等，如為美國政府所核發之英文文件，必須經過下列相關翻譯、公證及驗證流程。
一、出生證明、結婚證明:英文原件->翻譯中文版->公證人公證->經文處驗證。
二、健康檢查表(下載制式表格，表格即為中英文雙語) :原件->公證人公證->經文處驗證。
三、疫苗卡:英文原件-> 經文處驗證。(不須翻譯成中文)
四、FBI無犯罪紀錄證明:
(1)英文原件->駐美國台北經濟文化代表處(Washington, D.C)驗證。 辦理方式請見:https://www.roc-taiwan.org/us/post/3072.html / 諮詢電話:202-895-1815;電郵tecro@mofa.gov.tw。
(2)原則不需翻譯中文，將視個案狀況通知提供中譯本。
五、單身證明:英文原件->州務卿認證->翻譯中文版->公證人公證-> 經文處驗證。

- For all applications, any required documents (e.g., marriage certificates, birth certificates, FBI Identity History Summary Check) issued by the United States government must be processed in accordance with the following translation, notarization and authentication procedures.
一、Birth Certificate / Marriage Certificate:
Original English document → Translated into Chinese → Notarized by a notary public → Authenticated by TECO-LA.
二、Health Examination Form (standard bilingual form available for download):
Original document → Notarized by a notary public → Authenticated by TECO-LA.
三、Vaccination Card:
Original English document → Authenticated by TECO-LA.(No Chinese translation required)
四、FBI Identity History Summary Check : Must be authenticated by the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in Washington, D.C.
