Jason Poyuan Ma assumed the role of Director General of TECO in Los Angeles in April, 2026.
Prior to his current post, Jason served as Deputy Representative at the Taipei Representative Office in the EU and Belgium (2024-2026), Deputy Director General of the Department of North American Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2022-2023), and Director of the Congressional Liaison Division in the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in the US (2021). He previously spent 12 years posted in Washington D.C., serving across congressional, political, and consular affairs divisions.
Beyond his diplomatic career, Jason and his wife, Anne Yahsiu Yang, share a profound passion for the arts as experienced choral vocalists. They look forward to leveraging their dedication to music and decorative arts to further bridge the cultural ties between Taiwan and the United States.
