The 2014 Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Show was held from September 30 to October 2, 2014 in the Sands Expo, Las Vegas. G2E is the leading trade event for the international gaming entertainment community, attended by industry professionals from around the world. This year, more than 500 exhibitors showcased the latest products and services for the gaming industry.
This year, eight Taiwanese companies participated in the show and formed the Taiwan Pavilion. The Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers Association (TEEMA) led the show and provided necessary assistance to Taiwanese participants and displaying information about Taiwan products. The majority of participating companies were satisfied with this show’s exposure, given that it not only attracted customers from United States but also from Latin America. The major products exhibited by Taiwanese companies were slot machines, slot cabinets, playing cards, graphic cards and gaming API.
Ms. Andrea Chou, a trade specialist from the Economic Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Los Angeles visited the show on October 1, 2014 to see how it goes and what Taiwanese exhibitors have gotten from the G2E show.
