The MAGIC Show (Autumn/Winter) was held from August 16 to 19, 2015, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Nevada. MAGIC is where the international community of apparel, accessories and footwear professionals trades information, previews trends, builds business and shops fashion unlike anywhere else in the industry. The Show takes place twice every year in February and August in Las Vegas.
This year, 20 Taiwanese companies led by the Taiwan Textile Federation and 5 Taiwanese companies led by Taiwan Footwear manufacturers Association, participated in the show. A trade specialist from the Economic Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Los Angeles visited the show on August 18. The Taiwanese exhibitions were located in the south hall and north hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Both were decorated with bright lights and prominent Taiwan logos. The beautiful design garnered attention from many people and brought more business to the exhibitors. The products displayed included knitted/woven fabric, functional fabrics, apparel, accessories, sporting shoes, and sandals etc.
In addition, featuring the theme ‘ECO MEETS FASHION’, the ‘Taiwan Innovative Textiles and Accessories Gallery’ was staged by the Green Trade Project Office under the Bureau of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Economic Affairs, R. O. C. in collaboration with Taiwan Textile Federation. At the Gallery, located at the North Hall, members of the Taiwan delegation presented a wide variety of products with eco-friendly characteristics and innovative design. During the exhibition, the Green Trade Project Office hosted the ‘ECO MEETS FASHION: New Products Launch Presentation’ on August 17.
Most exhibitors believe that by participating in this show, Taiwan will be at a huge advantage to establish direct contact with buyers from all over the world.
