Taiwan Center Foundation of Greater Los Angeles held its 22nd Annual Fundraising Meeting online on December 5, 2020.

President Tsai Ing-wen, Vice President Lai Ching-te, Minister Tung Chen-yuan of Overseas Community Affairs Council, Minister Yiong Con-ziin of Hakka Affairs Council, , and Director General Louis M. Huang of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Los Angeles recorded congratulatory remarks to recognize the contributions of Taiwan Center. Taiwan Representative to the United States, Bi-khim Hsiao, was invited to give a keynote speech on the topic of "Taiwan-US Stronger Together." President Tsai commended Taiwan Center for its unwavering commitment and care towards Taiwan, and also for supporting democracy and promoting Taiwanese culture. During the pandemic, Taiwan Center has donated surgical masks made in Taiwan to assist LA communities to fight COVID-19, which exemplifies itself true spirit of “Taiwan Can Help and Taiwan Is Helping!”
