The PGA Show and the Functional Fabric Fair (Winter Edition), two of the largest events in the U.S. for golf and performance textiles, were recently held in Orlando. A total of 12 Taiwanese companies took part, showcasing high-performance fabrics, functional apparel and socks, as well as golf simulators—highlighting Taiwan’s strong capabilities in sports and textile innovation.
On January 22, Director General Charles Chou, joined by Thomas Tang, Director of the Economic Division at the TECO Atlanta Office, and Ms. Li-Ling Lee, President of the Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce of Greater Orlando (TCCGO), visited participating exhibitors.
Accompanied by representatives from the Taiwan Textile Federation, the delegation conveyed the Taiwanese government’s support and encouragement, while engaging in discussions with industry leaders on Florida’s sports market, U.S. tariffs, and emerging business opportunities.
