Director General Charles Chou, Secretary Franco Tu, Commissioner San-Fu Lee, and Florida State Senator Carlos Guillermo Smith joined the Greater Orlando Taiwanese Chamber to send New Year blessings to the crowds, filling the streets with joy and celebration for the Lunar New Year.
This year’s festival featured an incredible lineup: Japanese taiko drummers, a Vietnamese pageant queen, dragon dances by local Taiwanese school kids, spinning top performances, plus appearances by the Magic and Universal teams—turning the streets into a vibrant cultural carnival.
Lucky cookies, chocolate coins, and balloons were handed out along the route, while everyone cheered to the “Taiwan Strong” anthem, sharing the warmth and lively spirit of the Taiwanese community.
