Director General Chou Attends Haiti Consulate New Building Press Event in Miami, Marking 60 Years of Taiwan–Haiti Friendship

Director General Charles Chou was honored to attend the press event for the future new building of the Consulate General of Haiti in Miami, at the invitation of Consul General Yverick Delerme Cyril. During the event, he had the opportunity to greet Haitian Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé and Foreign Minister Raina Forbin, while also engaging in warm conversations with South Florida community leaders, local officials, and members of Miami’s diplomatic corps.
As Taiwan and Haiti celebrate 60 years of diplomatic friendship this year, this longstanding partnership remains especially meaningful. We look forward to continuing to strengthen cooperation across many fields and deepening the enduring friendship between our two nations.
