Director General Chi, as well as Taiwanese expatriates in South Florida were invited to attend the press conference hosted by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for announcing executive actions and legislative proposals to address threats posed by the Communist Party of China and other foreign powers of concern in cyberspace, real estate, and academia.
Director General Chi extended gratitude to Governor DeSantis and State Senate and House of Representatives for bringing to our attention again the issues of security risk posed to Florida and to the world by Communist China, and standing together with Taiwan to fight for freedom and democracy against communism and authoritarianism.
Mr. Yi-Wei Chiou, President of the Taiwanese Junior Chamber of Commerce in Miami also thanked Governor DeSantis and the Florida Legislature for making the Sunshine State a safer place.
