The local mainstream Spanish media "Diario Las Américas" released an article on August 24th titled "Taiwan and the U.S.: An Alliance Intertwining Geostrategic Interests" (Taiwán y EEUU, una alianza que entrelaza intereses geoestratégicos), highlighting that Taiwan-U.S. relations have been strengthened through arms sales, comprehensive cooperation, economic alliances, and intelligence exchanges. Although Taiwan and the U.S. do not have formal diplomatic relations, their relationship has continued to strengthen over the 45 years since the Taiwan Relations Act (TRA) was passed.
