Enjoy a contemporary shadow puppet experience featuring music, dance, poetry and puppetry with CTW this Friday at Flushing Town Hall!

Dear Friends,

Taiwanese puppeteer Wu-Shan Huang will perform “Four Seasons” with Chinese Theater Work at Flushing Town Hall Gallery on July 14Friday at 7:00.

"Four Seasons" will fuse together classical and contemporary Chinese aesthetic genres (poetry, music, dance, opera and puppetry) with contemporary shadow theater techniques. The result will be a vivid living animation that transcends language and cultural barriers, framed within the structure of annual seasonal cycles and life passages.

Together with Chinese Theater Work, Wu-Shan Huang will be presenting you a taste of "Four Seasons" and showcasing a part of the production. You are welcome to join us to experience this cross-culture, cross-disciplinary production.

Sponsored by Ministry of Culture in Taiwan, the director of Shan Puppet Theatre, Wu-Shan Huang joins this performance as part of his residency project with Chinese Theater Work.  He will also host a professional puppeteer training workshop and a workshop at the National Puppetry Festival in Minnesota.

Time: Friday, July 14, 7 p.m.

Location: Flushing Town Hall Gallery 137-35 Northern Blvd, Flushing, NY 11354

Tickets: Free of Admission, at first-come first-served basis.
