Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New York is pleased to announce "TaiwanEYE," an online showcase of Taiwanese performing arts ranging from traditional opera, experimental theater and contemporary dance to indigenous a cappella. The performances can be viewed online from June 8 through August.
The performances were originally to be presented at the International Society of Performing Arts (ISPA) 2020 Taipei Congress this June, but the event was canceled due to Covid-19 concerns. In order for arts lovers to still be able to enjoy the shows, Taiwan's Ministry of Culture in collaboration with C.F. Koo Foundation re-envisioned the event and created "TaiwanEYE" to show pre-recorded excerpts of the program online.
