TECO in Seattle joins with Lt. Governor Denny Heck to visit TSMC subsidiary company in Washington State

Director General Daniel Chen visited the TSMC’s subsidiary company WaferTech with Lt. Governor Denny Heck in Camas, Washington State on Sep. 24th.
President Kuo, Director Juan, and Deputy Director Megil presented the operation of the fab and gave the delegation a tour to the clean room. They exchanged information on the decision-making process of the TSMC’s presence in Washington State, and the background of the global chip shortage.
Lt. Governor Heck’s visit not only highlights the bilateral trade between Washington State and Taiwan, but helps the Washington State better understand the close and complementary relationship of the high tech industry between Taiwan and the U.S.
