The authentication of foreign identification documents is ONLY for the U.S. passport photocopy. Other foreign identification documents will not be accepted for authentication. A public notary within the six states under our jurisdiction must notarize the photocopy and then send it to the Secretary of that state for "APOSTILLE" before the submission for authentication.

Application Form for Authentication: Each applicant must complete and sign the form. Applicants can submit multiple documents under one application.
The applicant’s U.S. passport COLOR photocopy: The copy must be in color. A public notary within the six states under our jurisdiction must notarize the photocopy and then send it to the Secretary of that state for "APOSTILLE."
