Ambassador Peter Sha-Li LAN Presents Taiwan Bursaries scholarship to students in the Grenadines

Ambassador Peter Sha-Li LAN of the Republic of China (Taiwan) presented the Fourth batch of Taiwan Bursaries 2022 to the students of the Grenadines region of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, together with Hon. Curtis King, Minister of Education and National reconciliation, during a ceremony at the Beguia SDA Secondary School on 15 December, 2022.

Ambassador Lan welcomed students from Bequia and the Southern Grenadines joining the more than 11,500 SVG students ever since the launching of this program 25 years ago.

This year there are a total of 524 beneficiaries of bursaries, among whom $320,000 EC$ will be allocated. This concluded the fourth and the last ceremony of Taiwan Bursaries 2022, we wish you happy holidays and see you next year!
