根據柬埔寨發展委員會(CDC)頃發布之資料，該會本(2018)年第1季共核准35件外人投資案，總投資金額共4億4,400萬美元，計可創造30,335個工作機會。
上述投資案中有9件屬紡織、成衣、以及鞋類，投資公司分別為TH Zipper and Metal Accessory (Cambodia)、Sisophon Hong Seng Sport wear、Qian Qun Huang Jia、Monti Apparel、Grand Oriental Footwear International、Wincrown (Cambodia) Industrial、Helios Garment (Cambodia)、V.C.O.F.F Apparel、以及Advance Team (Cambodia)。
屬旅行包業(travel bags)者有二，公司為Nanwang Travel Goods和JS Leather Collection Phnom Penh。1件屬菸草業(tobacco)，為Xiang Gang Tobacco (Cambodia)。3件為貿易中心與旅館，公司為Global House (Cambodia)、Metro Lifestyle Development、以及WTCPP Management。
屬於農企業(agro-industrial)有5家，公司為Red Boat Enterprise、China Great Cause (Cambodia) Investment、Siemon (Cambodia) Agriculture Comprehensive Development、Hyundai Mao Legacy、以及Chhung Hong Rubber Better。
2件為碾米業與加工業(rice mills and processing plants)，公司為Baofeng International Agriculture Development和Lianyun (Cambodia) Eco-Agriculture Development。1件為汽車組裝業(auto assembly)，公司為International VCV Industry。1件為自行車與機車零件暨組裝(bike and motorcycle parts and assembly)，公司為Da Chao Shoung Compusites Technology。
其餘為電線製造(wire factory)、糖果與餅乾製造(candy and cake factory)、肥料生產(fertiliser and pesticide)、製鋅工廠(a zinc factory)、水泥與藝品工廠(cement and souvenir factory)、包裝廠(packaging operation)、肥皂製造(soap factory)、以及紙工廠(paper industry)等。
CDC表示，本期有9件為大型投資，公司為Lianyun (Cambodia) Eco-Agriculture Development (投資4,331萬美元)、China Great Cause (Cambodia) (投資3,261萬美元)、Siemon (Cambodia) agriculture comprehensive development (投資6,099萬美元)、Chhung Hong Rubber Better (投資2,489萬美元)、WTCPP Management (投資5,020萬美元)、Baofeng International Agriculture Development (投資4,331萬美元), Metro Lifestyle Development(投資1,949萬美元), King Elephant Construction Material Industry (投資2,010萬美元)、以及Cambodia Chaothuo Mining and Metallurgy (投資3,000萬美元)。
依投資地點分析，有11件在首都金邊(Phnom Penh)、5件在西哈努克省(Sihanoukville)、2件在Kampong Thom省、4件在Kandal省、4件在柴楨省(Svay Rieng)、5件在Kampong Speu省、1件在Preah Vihear省、1件在Stung Treng省、1件在Banteay Meanchey省、以及1件在Kampong Cham省。
