On March 5, 2026, Counselor Lin Wei-chih visited Lac Hong University to attend the opening ceremony of the Mandarin Chinese classes under the "INTENSE Scholarship Program."
During the ceremony, Counselor Lin delivered a speech highlighting Taiwan’s diverse and comprehensive scholarship systems, which actively support international students in their academic pursuits and professional development in Taiwan. He further noted that under the trend of globalization, exceptional foreign language proficiency has become a critical competitive advantage in the labor market. He emphasized that stronger language skills not only assist students in securing ideal positions and competitive salaries but also significantly broaden their long-term career prospects.
