I. Qualification requirements:
1. Be Luxembourgish citizens residing in Luxembourg at the time of application.
2. Be between the ages of 18 and 35 (inclusive) on the date the application is submitted.
3. Come unaccompanied by dependents.
4. Have not previously benefited from this Working Holiday Program.
II. Required Documents:
1. Two 2-inch color passport photos taken within the past six months.
2. Proof of all-risk insurance for the duration of stay, covering treatment for accidents at work and for healthcare, including medical cost, hospitalization and repatriation.
3. A certificate of good conduct + Chinese translation. (legalized*)
4. A medical report issued within the past three months. (legalized*)
5. Proof of a valid return ticket or sufficient sources to purchase one.
6. Proof of sufficient financial resources. (at least 2500 Euros)
7. Hold a Luxembourgish passport valid for at least 15 months from the day the visa is issued.
III. Application procedure:
Step 1:
Go to the Taipei Representative Office in the EU and Belgium to submit the following documents IN PERSON:
1. A completed and signed visa application form for the working holiday program ( Choose “General Visa Applications”)
2. Luxembourgish passport valid for at least fifteen months from the day the visa is issued + 1 photocopy.
3. Luxembourgish ID card + 1 photocopy.
4. Two 2-inch color passport photos taken within the past six months.
5. Proof of all-risk insurance for the duration of stay, covering treatment for accidents at work and for healthcare, including medical cost, hospitalization and repatriation.
6. A legalized certificate of good conduct + Chinese translation

7. A legalized medical report issued within the past three months
a. Health Certificate (Form B) .pdf

8. Proof of a valid return ticket or sufficient sources to purchase one
9.Proof of sufficient financial resources (at least 2500 Euros)
10. 5 working days to issue the visa
Step 2:
Pay the non-refundable application fee of 95 Euros.
IV. Type of Visa issued: Visitor Visa
Notice:
1. Luxembourgish participants will initially receive a six-month visa which can be extended for additional six months.
2. No later than 15 days before the expiry of their six-month visa, participants may apply for the extension at the National Immigration Agency service center in their city or county of residence in Taiwan.
3. No further extensions or changes to visa type will be permitted thereafter.
V. Other information
1. Working Holiday Program visas are issued to a maximum of 40 participants per year.
2. Participants will be allowed to engage in temporary employment with one or multiple employers during the period covered by the long-term visa.
3. Participants will not be permitted to engage in any study or training for more than six months.
4. Participants will not be allowed for unemployment benefits or social benefits.
5. Participants must have regard to the principal purpose of the stay, which is holiday, work being secondary to the holiday.
