How to submit your application:
In person : （by appointment only)
- Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 09:30- 12:00 and 13:00-15:00
- Excluding bank holidays, ROC National Day (10th October) and Lunar New Year's Day
By professional agent or a friend/family member:
Agents, friends or family members must enclose an authorization letter with their original passport and a photocopy of the passport.
By post:
- Please enclose postage prepaid self-addressed return envelope with your application for the return of your documents. Make sure that there is enough postage on the envelope. (Our office cannot provide any Post service and won't be responsible for your mail's lost or damage).
Authentication Requirements:

| 2 | Applicant’s Identification | Please provide a high-quality photocopy of personal ID (ID card, passport or drivers licence) |
| 3 | Document(s) with One Photocopy, Including the Signature/Seal of Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland | All documents to be legalized should be first legalized by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland. If the document is more than one page, please ask the Ministry to stamp the seal over pages to make it secure from tampering.One photocopy of document(s) must be enclosed and we won't provide the printing service. Please note that the application will be rejected if it is incomplete. |

Mandarin translation:
Please check with your recipient authority in Taiwan before applying for authentication of your Mandarin translation. The TRO does not provide translation service.
The applicant can authenticate the Mandarin translation by the methods listed below:
Having your translator attend in person to sign the document in presence of assigned personnel at the consular counter. The following statement must be included at the end of the translation: “I, _________________, hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct Chinese translation of the English original document. Translator’s name:___________ Date: __________”
NB! Please do not sign it beforehand.
