From March 1 to May 5, ten Taiwanese wuxia films to be seen at Kino Regina. Taiwan's Flying Fighters themed series catches arrows with chopsticks and features heartbreakingly beautiful battle scenes.
Dragon Inn (1966) is a breakthrough in the wuxia genre about the heroic fighters of a bygone world and an action movie classic that has inspired generations. From its director King Hu , the series also features the milestone in film history The Golden Spider (A Touch of Zen, 1969), as well as The Valient Ones (1974) and Raining in the Mountain (1979), which contain twists and turns of politics and virtuosic combat movements. Film series presenting Taiwanese cinema continue at Kino Reginas throughout the year.
