Representatives Mark Takano (D-CA), Elissa Slotkin (D-MI), Colin Allred (D-TX), Sara Jacobs (D-CA), and Nancy Mace (R-SC-1) visited Taiwan from November 25-26, as part of a larger visit to the Indo-Pacific region. While in Taiwan, the congressional delegation met with President Tsai Ing-wen, Foreign Minister Joseph Wu, and Veterans Affairs Council Minister Feng Shih-kuan to discuss issues of importance to both the United States and Taiwan. They also visited the Hutuoshan Innovation Hub in Taoyuan.
