Requirements for Working Visa Application
The R.O.C.(Taiwan) reserves the right not to issue a visa and is under no obligation to disclose the reasons.

All applicants are required to make reservation by email ( E-mail: roctmtaiwan@yahoo.com). After reservation is completed and an email confirmation received, applicants may visit Taipei Trade Office in Nigeria at the assigned time slot with all requirements ready and submit directly at the visa counter. Only Counter Application is acceptable. No Mail-in Application. |

1.Documents from applicant’s employer in the ROC (Taiwan): (1) Official Letter from Ministry of Labor in Taiwan. (2) Copy of employer’s Taiwanese ID card (both front and back of the card). (4) Guarantee Form (prepared by the employer in Taiwan.) This is to be authenticated first by a notary and the bureau of consular affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Taiwan (5) After a v-number has been issued after applicant submission, the employer in Taiwan can apply for the visa application approval at the Bureau of Consular Affairs(BOCA), Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Taiwan. The BOCA will inform Taipei Trade Office in Nigeria the approval accordingly. (6) A letter of Introduction from applicant’s company signed by the executive chairman or the managing director. (7) Certificate of Incorporation/Certificate of Registration. (8) A detailed contract stating the job description, pay and duration of contract 2. Applicant’s personal documents: (1) Passport must be valid for at least 1 year and 6 months on the date of application. Both current and expired passports are required. (2) Two white background of passport-sized(Head size from 2.5cm to 3.2 cm) photographs taken in six months. (3) Duly completed Visa application online and printed out the form. (4) Personal Bank Statement covering a period of 6months(For applicants using a statement of financial support, provision of an affidavit, a letter of description of relationship with birth certificates to show relationship with applicant is required) (5) Updated Curriculum Vitae (including emergency contact and address) (6) Marriage certificate and the copies of birth certificate of children.(If applicant married with children) (7) Detailed Autobiography (8) Birth certificate of Applicant must be endorsed by Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abuja (9) Pay slips and letter of employment for employed applicants (10) National Identity card (11) Original Police Character, Medical Report and the highest level of education School Certificate must be endorsed individually by the following: - Nigeria (Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abuja - Ghana (Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Consulate General in Nigeria) - Cameroon (Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Consulate General in Nigeria) - Gambia (Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Consulate General in Nigeria) (12) Original Credentials used for the employment must be endorsed individually by the following: - Nigeria (Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abuja) - Ghana (Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Consulate General in Nigeria) - Cameroon (Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Consulate General in Nigeria) - Gambia (Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Consulate General in Nigeria)

Visa processing time may differ from case to case. |
| 7 | Policy on Appointment NO-SHOWS | Applicant should note that scheduled appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled in 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment date and time. Applicants who fail to arrive for a scheduled appointment without cancellation/rescheduling his/her appointment would be considered as "no-show".
If an applicant has a no-show for an appointment more than one time, no further appointment would be scheduled for the applicant. |
