Director General Kendra Chen Attends GFCBW NZ’s Celebration and Farewell Dinner

To celebrate the Nibun Chorus from Kaohsiung, Taiwan, winning gold medals in both the "Folklore & Indigenous Music with Accompaniment" and "Contemporary Music Mixed Voices" categories at the 2024 World Choir Games, Global Federation of Chinese Business Women of New Zealand (GFCBW NZ) held a celebration and farewell dinner on the evening of July 22, just before the departure of the chorus from New Zealand.
Director General Kendra Chen expressed gratitude in her speech for the assistance provided by the GFCBW NZ in finding suitable rehearsal spaces and for the support from the local expatriate community for all choirs from Taiwan. Conductor Dr. Chen Jun-zhi of the choir specifically thanked TECO in Auckland and the expatriate community for their various forms of support, which made the members feel the warm love from their compatriots.
