TECO in Auckland witnessed the signing of a memorandum of cooperation and exchange between Pingtung County and Rotorua City

On August 7th, Pingtung County Magistrate Chou Chun-mi and Rotorua Mayor Tania Tapsell signed a friendly cooperation and exchange memorandum via video conference. Director General Kendra Chen from TECO in Auckland and Taiwanese compatriots from Rotorua were present as witnesses. Pingtung County and Rotorua are similar in size and both boast vibrant tourism and agricultural industries, as well as rich ethnic cultures and scenic landscapes. Following the signing of the MOU, both sides will work to promote collaboration in areas such as Austronesian ethnic cultures, educational exchanges between schools, and sustainable urban development.
