- The office is closed from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Please plan your visit accordingly. Cases are handled on a first-come, first-served basis. If there are many applicants waiting, you are kindly advised to return after 1:30 p.m.

Application Instructions :
- A passport with a validity of more than six months.
- Visa application form (Please fill out and download the application form with a barcode from the Consular Affairs website. The application form must be personally signed by the applicant to confirm that the declared information is true).
- Two 2-inch photos must be affixed to the application form. The photos must have been taken within the last six months and should be in color with a white background. Please refer to the photo specifications.
- Prepare relevant supporting documents related to the purpose of your visit to Taiwan. (See the table below)
- Processing time: At least two weeks. Depending on the case, the application processing time may vary.
- The application will not be accepted if any required document is missing.

Procedures:
Applicants can lodge their applications with the necessary documents and statutory fee at our overseas missions.
Interview may be required when necessary.
Notices:
Visas are issued as stipulated by Article 12 of the Statute Governing Issuance of ROC Visas for Foreign Passports. As a sovereign nation, the ROC has the right to refuse applications for visas without providing any explanation for such decisions; visa application fee is not refundable.
