Applications are now being accepted for the 2013 International Youth Culture and Study Tour to the Republic of China (Taiwan). The aim of this twelve-day culture and study tour is to provide young people from Europe, Africa and Latin America with an opportunity to better understand Taiwan from a wide variety of perspectives, such as through its history, culture, economy, ecology, politics, technology and cross-strait relations. At the same time, delegates will also learn more about the cultures of other participants.
Participants should be between 20 and 40 years old. Schedule- wise there are two groups that participants can choose to join: the first group will visit Taiwan from 8th to 19th July, while the second group will visit from 19th to 30th August. The participants will need to pay for the airfare of the round trip tickets, but all expenses for tour activities, accommodation, and local transportation in Taiwan will be fully covered by the tour’s sponsor in Taiwan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
