Director General Jerry Chang Spoke to a full-house audience at the opening night screening of Listen Before You Sing
DG Chang spoke to a full-house audience at the 2022 Dragon Boat Film Festival opening night screening of Listen Before You Sing, a 2021 Taiwanese film directed by Yang Chih-lin.
The film, he said, is about a group of aboriginal kids of an elementary school in Taiwan's mountain joining a singing competition in an hope to save the school from closing down. Taiwan's aboriginal peoples are known to be very creative and talented in singing, dancing and sporting, he added, and they greatly enrich Taiwan's already diversified culture.
"I hope the film will work to arouse your curiosity and interest about my beautiful country," he concluded.
