President Lai Ching-te delivered the opening video remarks, conveying greetings participants. Overseas Community Affairs Council Minister Hsu Chia-ching and former Vice President Chen Chien-jen also graced the event with their presence and their invigorating remarks.
Director General Bill Huang briefed the participants on Taiwan’s role in key global supply chains and information about doing business with #Taiwan. He also urged support for expedited progress of the Taiwan/U.S. initiative for 21st Century Trade, as well as the passing of the Agreement on the Avoidance on Double Taxation (ADTA) between the two countries to facilitate bilateral trade and investment activities.
