Team Taiwan in Denver attended the “2025 MIDWEST AGRICULTURAL EXPORT SUMMIT” sponsored by “South Dakota Trade “ (SDT)on August 13. SDT President Jesse Fonkert acknowledged DG Debby Huang as Taiwan top diplomat to the audience in the opening ceremony.
Congressman Dusty Johnson and Adrian Smith, as well as SD Governor Larry Rhoden and Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen were also in attendance. Congressman Johnson and many other panelists mentioned Taiwan is the indispensable trading partner to the US, highlighting Taiwan’ importance in the global supply chain.
